Mission Statement
Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic society: A Chapter of ASET - The Neurodiagnostic Society provides leadership, advocacy and resources that promote professional excellence and quality patient care in neurodiagnostics. As a membership organization, WI-ASET advances the field by serving innovative educational opportunities, promoting the profession, and building coalitions in allied health and other communities of interest. Neurodiagnostics includes, but is not limited to, Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Polysomnography/Sleep Technology (PSG), Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM), Long Term Monitoring (LTM), and Intensive Care Unit Continuous EEG Monitoring (ICU/cEEG).

2024 Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic Society TUITION GRANT
Submissions due on June 2, 2024

Tuition Grant Value: $500

Purpose: Provide monetary reimbursement for educational expenses at a 
formal neurodiagnostic program.


Requirements:
○ Must be a current neurodiagnostic student as of January 2024 and fulfill ONE of the following:
      ■ a Wisconsin resident
      ■ enrolled in a neurodiagnostic program based in Wisconsin
○ Must become a Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic Society Member prior to submission
      ■ Become a member today  Member Signup / Information

                                      A Letter from the President
September 22, 2023

Greetings from the Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic Society. We are excited to continue our mission to support our NDT profession and provide educational opportunities.

EDUCATION

Our 2023 annual conference will be on Friday October 6, 2023. The conference is hosted by Neurotech, LLC at the Milwaukee County Zoo - Peck Welcome Center in Milwaukee, WI. There will be an option for in-person or virtual attendance of the program. We hope you can join us. See our website wisconsinneurodiagnosticsociety.org for more details.


BUSINESS MEETING

Our annual member business meeting will be on Friday October 6, 2023 at 12:10P – 1:10P. ALL active members are encouraged to attend. A zoom link will be released to all active members within 12 hours of the meeting, in case you would like to attend the meeting virtually.

BOARD MEMBER ACTIVITY

Myself, Treasurer Nicole Dorn, Secretary Liz Jetton, and Board Member Kelly Hackbarth welcomed new Board Members Maida Imsirovic and Wendy Albers in fall 2022. We have regular board meetings every other month. Jessica Harris joined us as President Elect in 2022, but she recently has stepped down from the role. Thank you to Jessica for her contributions to the society.
When you are logged into the society website as a member, you may access our board meeting minutes from the “Member Resources” tab.

Nicole Dorn continues to be our “Advocacy Liaison” and attends advocacy meetings with other ASET Chapter members.

SCHOLARSHIP

We will open applications for our 2024 Student Tuition Grant in January 2024. The $500 tuition grant will be awarded to a current student of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program (Wisconsin based student or program). Check out our website for more information.

OPEN OFFICER/BOARD POSITIONS

We have a few opportunities for you to contribute to the society as an officer or board member beginning this fall.
