Mission Statement
Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic society: A Chapter of ASET - The Neurodiagnostic Society provides leadership, advocacy and resources that promote professional excellence and quality patient care in neurodiagnostics. As a membership organization, WI-ASET advances the field by serving innovative educational opportunities, promoting the profession, and building coalitions in allied health and other communities of interest. Neurodiagnostics includes, but is not limited to, Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Polysomnography/Sleep Technology (PSG), Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM), Long Term Monitoring (LTM), and Intensive Care Unit Continuous EEG Monitoring (ICU/cEEG).

                                      A Letter from the President
September 22, 2024

Greetings from the Wisconsin Neurodiagnostic Society. We are excited to continue our mission to support our NDT profession and provide educational opportunities.

EDUCATION

Our 2024 annual conference will be on Friday October 4, 2024. The conference is hosted by Aurora Healthcare and Carroll University. The conference will be held at Aurora Heil Conference Center in Milwaukee, WI. There will be an option for in-person or virtual attendance of the program. We hope you can join us. BUSINESS MEETING

Our annual member business meeting will be on Friday October 4, 2024 at 11:30A – 12:00P. ALL active members are encouraged to attend. A zoom link will be released to all active members within 24 hours of the meeting, in case you would like to attend the meeting virtually.

BOARD MEMBER ACTIVITY

Myself, Treasurer Nicole Dorn, Board Member Maida Imsirovic, and Board Member Wendy Albers welcomed 3 new officers/board members in fall 2023. Danielle Pierce was elected as President-Elect and will take over as President at our conference on October 4, 2024. Micheala Elmore joined us a secretary. Amy DeBrock joined us a Board Member. Thank you to our officers and board members for volunteering your time to the society!

Nicole Dorn continues to be our “Advocacy Liaison” and attends advocacy meetings with other ASET Chapter members. She secured a Neurodiagnostic Week proclamation by Gov. Tony Evers this spring!

SCHOLARSHIP

Our 2024 Student Tuition Grant was awarded to Emmie Magnin. Congratulations, Emmie! Her research paper is available to view on the Scholarship page of our website. We will open applications for our 2025 Student Tuition Grant in January 2025. The $500 tuition grant will be awarded to a current student of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program (Wisconsin based student or program). Check out our website for more information.

OPEN OFFICER/BOARD POSITIONS
